Chamonix hospital provides an A&E service during the busy seasons of summer and winter and an X-ray centre.
Out of season all emergency cases are sent directly to Sallanches hospital further down the valley.
Opening hours in Chamonix are between 9am, and 7pm, outside of these hours you will need to visit Sallanches Hospital - 380 Rue de l'Hôpital, Sallanches Tel: +33 (0)4 50 47 30 00

In March, the Unlimited Festival brings ravers to the mountains while Musilac Mont Blanc takes place a month later. At the end of July, the Cosmo Jazz Festival hosts concerts all around the valley.
