A look at the Planet Mars run in Flegere
There are two marked runs for downhillers from the top of l'Index, Ushuaia and Planet Mars. As both follow a very similar line we thought we'd have a look at the trickier of the two, Planet Mars.
The top section of the track follows the ridge line down through the boulders that litter the upper face of Flegere. Here the trail is pretty rocky and loose but this changes into more sure footing as you move further down the run.
There are a few North-shore like sections in the route but nonre that should worry even intermediate riders. The run is long though and you can make it even longer if you carry on to the section below l'Index that runs back to the valley floor.
