Nissan Freeride World Tour postponed
Since yesterday's announcement that the Nissan Freeride World Tour will be upping sticks to Courmayeur this weekend, it has since been announced that it will not actually be taking place this weekend at all.
The event has not been cancelled, just postponed. The new dates will be released later on today, so keep watching this space for updates.
All of the scheduled parties, film screenings, entertainments, etc will still be taking place in Chamonix centre and in various bars around resort. Which hopefully means we'll get to do some of it all over again when the competition finally does take place!
The safety of the riders is paramount and organisers have taken the decision to postpone so that they can secure a safe area in which to hold the event.
