Mer de Glace Ice Cave Closes
Due to the changeable weather of late the Compagnie du Mont Blanc have decided to close access to the ice cave earlier than expected.
The CMB close the access to the cave annually in preparation for the regular re-conditioning and access of the ice cave, this is necessary as the movement and melt of the glacier effects the position of the cave.
The Mer de Glace telecabin will be staying open as expected through to the 30th of May before closing for a short inter-season break.
The cave and telecabin will re-open on the 11th of June for the summer.
