Hollywood star turns up to host a dinner in Geneva..damn, we missed it!
Guys thinks he's cool and girls, well, girls think he's a bit of a hottie even though he's a bit old for us - yes the Nespresso-advertising George Clooney was in Geneva last night to host a posh dinner party.
We're not sure what happened, but our invite to the event seems to have got lost in the post, but reports say Ocean's 11 star Clooney was in town to host a dinner in support of US presidential election candidate Barack Ombama.
It has been reported that 170 American citizens based in Geneva paid to see George wax lyrical about his support for the Democrate hopeful. According to reports, a select group of 75 paid a small fortune to then join George for a cocktail party and dinner. We've heard the tickets, from which the profits were going to support the Obama campaign, were selling at 10,000 US dollars - and we thought we were supposed to be heading for a global recession...
