Rising French tennis star Gael Monfils was spotted hanging out at the tennis club in Chamonix this weekend, much to the delight of tennis fans.

Monfils, who is currently ranked ninth in the world, was in town with his trainer, who is a Chamoniard and they decided to spend a bit of time on and off the courts at the tennis club behind the swimming pool complex.

Monfils, also known as La Monf, had a great run of matches at this year's Roland Garros championships in Paris last week, beating Britain's Andy Roddick in straight sets before losing to eventual winner Roger Federer in the quarter finals.
