Fisticuffs in Chamonix last night
It seems the heat had got a little too much for some last night (Monday) in Chamonix as police were called out to intervene in two incidents in the town centre last night.
The first incident saw two people throw a table through the window of the Carlina restaurant in the pedestrian section of avenue Michel Croz. Unlucky for them then that the waiters in the restaurant proved to be pretty nifty on their feet, as they gave chase and caught the pair.
They were then handed over to the Gendarmes, where they are currently being held in custody for causing considerable damage to the restaurant.
Things kicked off again at spilling out time in Chamonix Sud. Gendarmes were called to an affray at 05:00 outside the ubiquitous Tof nightclub and two people thought to be from Pelerins area were taken to Sallanches hospital.
At the risk of sounding like a Scouser, we'd like to say 'Caaaalmmm down' everyone!
