DJ Gilles Peterson headlines Winter Sessions Part 2 in Chamonix

After the huge success of their New Year's event, the Winter Sessions crew are back in Chamonix next month with another monster event planned. The date for your diary is 18th February and it's going to be worth travelling over for.

As before, they will be taking over the Le Podium Venue just next to the Chamonix Ice Skating rink (121 av de la Patinoire Chamonix 74400 ) and turning it in to a 2 room 700 person capacity event. For this second instalment they have a jam packed event planned, featuring not just one, but three massive names in music!

Headlining the event will be DJ Gilles Peterson, (yes you did read that correctly!) - GILLES PETERSON (of BBC Radio 1 fame) – will be returning to the Chamonix Valley after he mashed up the place last year at the Le Vert Hotel, with sounds of samba, hip hop, funk, Dub Step and Drum n Bass. This year will be no different as he is going to be behind one of the biggest sound system set ups in the Valley and then let loose to see what happens.

He will be joined on the decks by fellow Radio 1 colleague, Bad Boy DJ SKITZ with his own blend of Dirty Hip, and backed up by MC Heavy weight DEADLY HUNTA - famed for the reworks of the Collli Budz Track - Come Around, and Catch 22.

And there's more! Backing him up will be DJ DIE yes yes yes!!!! Die is in the House for the Winter Sessions part two!!!! One of the faces from Full Cycle and Reprazent crew, with Mercury award winner Roni Size, so expect a heavy DnB explosion come the end of the night from one of the Kings of the genre. NOT TO BE MISSED !!!!!

Burning up the local room will be Chamonix favourites DJ SKRED - G-FUNK - IYE 95 - SUGER LEG - and SUMO slinging their own flavour all over the place, guaranteeing that this will be one of the BIGGEST party nights this winter. And with a 4am licence it's going to be a crazy night!
