One mountaineer killed and the other injured in a fall
Two Korean climbers fell around 300m yesterday morning, as they ascended Mont Maudit on the way to summit Mont Blanc.
One man sadly died as a result of his injuries and the other was airlifted to hospital in Sallanches.
A guide from a separate party alerted rescue services after witnessing the fall.
