Luxury Chamonix spa to open in August 2018
Mayor's office confirms opening for summer season
Following a number of delays, the luxury spa QC Terme is finally set to open its doors on August 10th, the Maire de Chamonix confirmed in a July 27th press release.
Located just outside the centre of town the purpose built complex, has been in the works for a number of years. It joins numerous other locations, the nearest one being just through the Mont Blanc tunnel in Pré Saint Didier. When the spa opens this summer it will be their first outside Italy.
The an update on construction was posted on Facebook in May of 2017, then in December an interview with QC Terme's general manager seemed to suggest a June 2018 opening. Now, a statement from the mayor's office confirms an August opening, with the company's website saying it will be the 10th of the month.
The spa will house the usual pools, saunas, hammams and treatment facilities and promises to be a worthy addition to the spas already on offer here in Chamonix.
