Accidental Drowning in a Les Houches Hotel
The woman drowned in less than a metre of water
On Wednesday afternoon this week a woman sadly died after she lost her footing in less than a metre of water at the pool of the hotel Chris-Tal where she was staying.
She apparently couldn't swim and when she slipped and fell, she panicked, breathing in water.
Other people in the pool at the time managed to get her out of the water but she was already unconscious. Rescuers took her to hospital but she later died.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends after this tragic accident.
