Water day & fishing competition 2018
A full weekend of fishing activities for the whole family
On Saturday June 23rd there will be a kid's intro to fishing, and on Sunday June 24th a fishing competition, both to be held at Lac des Gaillands just outside Chamonix town.
Saturday, June 23rd
10:00 - 16:00: Fishing initiation for children (1 trout per child), fly fishing demonstration, various stands, with snacks and refreshments on site.
Sunday, June 24th
Fishing contest at Lake Gaillands. 350 kg of trout introduced (with 250 kg between 600g and 4 kg). Limited to 10 trout per competitor. Fishing license compulsory. €30 entry fee.
4 heats 07:30 - 08:15, 09:00 - 09:45, (10:30 - 11:15, and 12:00 - 12:45.
The lake remains closed to non-competitors until 14:30.
