Luc Armant has broken the unofficial record for the longest ever mountain paraglider flight, setting off from Col de Bleyne in the southern French Alps and arriving Sion in Switzerland nine hours later covering 339 kms.

The Ozone team rider Luc Armant set off shortly after 9.00 am on May 6th from Thorenc. He was flying his competition grade Ozone Mantra R11 which took him a whooping 339.35 km along the Western edge of the Alps, passing in front of the Mont Blanc before touching down the other side of the frontier in Switzerland.

Not bad considering Luc and his partner David made a last-minute decision to fly that day!
