New flights from the Channel Islands to Geneva launched

The publicity blurb says it's all about linking two renowned financial centres, but we're sure the new route just announced between Jersey and Geneva is actually more about hitting the slopes!

Blue Islands is operating the flights three times week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on a once daily return rotation. Flights leave Jersey at the sociable hour of 12:40 and return from Geneva at 16:00 so you can even profit from a few last turns in the morning. There are also connecting flights from Guernsey to Jersey, which will operate alongside this new Swiss route.

The timetable runs until 29 March 2008, but if the route continues this summer, it makes for a nice post-season holiday destination for those based in the Alps!
