New Chamonix webcam view of Montenvers train station

We are delighted to present our brand new webcam view across the Montenvers railway station in Chamonix, which captures the famous red train on it's way up to the Mer de Glace whilst in the background is the Aiguille du Gouter at 3817 metres along with the Glacier de Taconnaz.
During the summer the Montenvers train along with the Mer de Glace are some of the most visited sites and attractions in Chamonix. Whilst during winter, the Montenvers train is frequently used by skiers returning from the Vallee Blanche which ends just above the entrance to the ice caves on the Mer de Glace.
This is the only Chamonix webcam that provides a view directly onto the Montenvers train station and has been made possible by the support of La Clinique du Sport - Sports Physio Specialists in Chamonix. La Clinique du Sport offer a number of fitness classes overlooking this very view and offer physio treatment to everyone serious about their sport.
