The Chamonix PGHM are calling for witnesses for a missing mountaineer last seen on the Couloir Couturier, Aiguille Verte on Tuesday.

Gaëlle Cavalié from Saint Gervais set off on Sunday to climb the Aiguille Verte via the couloir Couturier, however weather conditions delayed her departure and she spent Monday up at the Grands Montets. She was then said to have set off up the couloir Couturier on Tuesday morning, other alpinists on the same route turned back after 300 metres however Gaëlle carried on alone.

No news from Gaëlle since, the PGHM are calling for any witnesses to come forward to help with their search.
Gaëlle Cavalié measures 1m75, normal build and has brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red Quechua jacket and/or a blue North Face jacket, black trousers, a red bag and a white helmet.
