The Mountain Festival is the perfect opportunity for those who are venturing into the high Alps for the first time to meet and climb with like-minded people. The inaugural event in 2013 attracted climbers from some 18 countries around the globe.
Organiser Francoise Call commented: “I’m delighted that the GearFest has already attracted such a great range of brands. The ability to test gear throughout the festival was something that last year’s participants said they really enjoyed and I’m confident that there will be an even wider selection of equipment on offer this year.
“There are another ten or so brands we are hopeful will join the line-up for GearFest which represents a great opportunity not just for Festival-goers but anyone in Chamonix at the time to experiment with the latest ropes, ice axes, crampons, jackets and back packs.”
