Chamonix-Courmayeur Night Bus
Courmayeur is only a short skip through the tunnel from Chamonix, but unless you have a car it can be a bit of a mission getting over there.
Mont Blanc Umlimited pass holders have been able to take the free bus that runs daily throughout the winter season, but what about everyone else?
Since 29th January the local transport companies have been trialling a new service that is open to everyone. For 13€ one way or 20€ return (significantly cheaper than a tunnel pass for your car) you can hop on any one of the buses on this schedule.
There is even a late service for night owls who fancy a bit of apres-ski Italian style. There is a bus leaving from Courmayeur at 11pm, arriving in Chamonix at 11.45pm and another leaving from Chamonix at midnight and arriving at 0.45am.
These extra services are running on a trial basis until 27th March, so make the most of it and try it out!
