Chamonix Chanel Boutique Burgled
Looters (hand)bag up to €100,000 of luxury goods
Early Saturday morning the Chanel shop in Chamonix was broken into and over €100,000 of luxury merchandise was stolen by two robbers who escaped on a motorbike.
The laminated glass of the shop window was smashed and pulled away from its frame using a sledgehammer, once inside the two robbers acted fast to bag up clothes, jewellery and handbags before making their speedy exit on a motorbike - the robbery took less than 6 minutes.
Chamonix police are currently investigating the incident and are calling for any witnesses to the incident.
