The Verte a l'Envers is a ski race in reverse! Rather than skiing down the mountain, this race starts at the bottom and works its way up.
Starting at the Bellevue cable car lift station in Les Houches the competitors must skin up 870m of the Kandahar track as fast as they can before skiing back down, watch the video on the right to see the racers in action.
The race is for individuals or pairs (man, woman, mixed) and takes place at night so head torches are a must. There is also a juniors race which ascends 500m.
