Once a farmhouse and now a classic and beautifully timbered chalet, Chalet Les Choucas has wonderful views of Les Grands Montets and the Mont Blanc range. It is nestled in the delightful Alpine hamlet of Les Frasserands at the top of the Chamonix Valley.

Perfectly positioned between the Le Tour (three minutes’ drive) and Les Grands Montets (seven minutes’ drive) ski areas, this chalet is ideal for those seeking both adventure and tranquillity. There's parking for two to three cars and a ski locker in the outside porch. In the summer months, picturesque mountain walks begin right from your doorstep. Plus, the ski bus stop and train station—serving the entire Chamonix valley—are both less than five minutes on foot.

• dormitory-style room with six bunk beds and a basin
