Big Mountain Bar and Restaurant

Local craft beer and artisan pizza and snacks to be found in the centre of Chamonix

Location
Chamonix

Whether you’re hungry or thirsty after a day on the mountain, Big Mountain Bar has you covered, whilst you enjoy the relaxed bar area or the sunny terrace.

Right in the heart of Chamonix is Big Mountain Bar, which opened its doors in March 2019.

Offering 12 taps of craft beer, boasting a mix of their own Big Mountain beers (including their low-alcohol Micro beer) and guest beers from some of Europe’s best craft breweries, as well as your regular bar tipples. The menu goes into detail about the beers, so you can peruse, or ask the bar staff for pointers if the choice is too hard!

As well as delicious drinks, they offer a selection of home made artisan pizzas made with locally sourced ingredients, as well as local cheese and charcuterie sharing boards and snacks.

With indoor seating for around 50 people, an outdoor terrace of the same size, the bar is small enough to feel cosy, but spacious enough to accommodate a large group.

Open winter and summer, with interseason closures.
