Flegere to Lac Blanc closed for maintenance

The trail connecting the Flegere resort and Lac Blanc will be off limits to hikers on weekdays from September 17th to October 5th to facilitate maintenance along the path.

Access to the route between Flegere and Chalet des Cheserys on the Grand Balcon Sud is also restricted during this time. The popular Chamonix hiking routes will be accessible on weekends, and the trails from Col des Montets and Argentiere village to Lac Blanc will remain open to all. Due to the early closure of the top lift of the Aiguille du Midi due to a technical fault, the Flegere gondola will remain in operation until November 5th this year.
