Chamonix Mountain Festival has added more brand experiences to its line-up for GearFest 2014 on 28 and 29 June.
The latest on the list is the Valandre and SlingFin Bivvi Experience on 28 June.
It’s the chance to spend the night under the stars on the glaciers high above Chamonix with UAIGM guide and freeride superstar Jonathan Charlet leading the experience.
Testing prototypes of Valandre’s new expedition sleeping bags and SlingFin’s latest specialist tents you’ll also be taught a host of important skills for glacial travel including identifying a good camp site and building it – complete with loo, shielding and emergency snow hole.
What’s more you’ll get a master class in cooking at altitude with a gourmet supper included and breakfast courtesy of Chimpanzee.
