Speed limit upped in Chavants tunnel

Following the completion of the safety and security works in the Chavants tunnel (the last tunnel before the Les Houches exit on the road up to Chamonix from Le Fayet), the speed limit has been upped from 70km/h to 90km/h.

However, keep your wits about you as the Police are actively watching the tunnel and caught an Italian motorist the other day merrily doing 150km/h. A good telling off and a 450 euro fine later, he went on his way. Don't let that be you next!
