More ways to get your paws on cheap ski and board gear (legally!)

This skiing and snowboarding lark is an expensive hobby, so following our article on the forthcoming winter sports 'bring and buy' sale in Pelerins on the 21st November, we've sniffed out another one of these Bourse aux Skis, this time in Sallanches.

It takes place on the 7th and 8th November at the Salle Leon Curral, which, unsurprisingly, is on rue Leon Curral between the train station and the hospital areas of Sallanches.

The sale of all things winter sports related has been organised by the local Parents Association and if you are wanting to sell items, you should drop them off at the hall between 08:30 and 12:00 on the Saturday 7th. There is a 10% commission on all sales and a 2€ charge for each batch of up to 10 articles brought in for sale.

The sale itself starts at 09:00 on Saturday, open non-stop until 18:30. On the Sunday the Bourse is open from 09:00 to 15:30. Any unsold items can be collected from 16:30 on the Sunday.
