Brittany has 'Breizh Cola', Corsica has 'Corsica Cola' (is what it says..) and the Auvergne has 'Bougnat Cola'.
Well now even the Alps has it's own answer to the world's most popular soft drink:Montania Cola
Going back to Coca Cola roots, leading syrup manufacturer Routin have created their own version based on a 'special' ingredient, this time it's Genepi (the flower not the alcohol).
The recipe has proven itself in taste tests, according to preliminary tests 9 out of 10 people found no difference between the original Coca-Cola and the new Montania Cola.
The label is of course is red but features skiers, hikers and mountain goats on the label to define itself.
The cola will be available to quench your thirst this summer and should be available in shops by mid June. If nothing else you can be sure to reduce your carbon foot print by now buying local cola.
