Eric Fournier in punch-up after man caught using church as WC
The mayor of Chamonix, Eric Fournier, was punched in the face on Saturday night after he caught a man urinating on the local church.
Eric was walking through town on Saturday night when he spotted a man urinating up against the church, he called out for the man to stop who responded by clouting the mayor in the face.
The aggressor walked away form the scene but the mayor called on the local police and within a short time had the man arrested.
Eric escaped with the four stitches whilst the aggressor will be charged before the courts.
