Two Days for Tibet

This weekend sees a two day event to celebrate the spirit of Tibet and Tibetan mountain culture.

Saturday's events start at 14.00 in Les Houches at the Espace Olca and the afternoon will include a variety of exhibitions, films and discussions including Tibetan cooking demos and a Tibetan singing bowls workshop.
At 19.30 there will be an organic Tibetan meal before a screening at 2100 of Florence Tran and Simon Allix's film 'La montagne magique, sur les chemins du Kailash'. The French film is 52 minutes long and follows the journey of two adventurers to Mount Kailash - a sacred mountain for millions of Buddhists and Hindus. After the film there will be an opportunity to hear directly from the filmmakers themselves about this incredible journey to this fascinating part of the world.

On Sunday there is an organised walk for Tibet that starts at 09.00 from the Col du Montets.
