1. Tandem Paragliding

Flights are available to suit all ages and adventure levels. Gentle discovery flights are ideal for beginners, while dedicated kids flights introduce young explorers to the magic of flight in a safe and comfortable way. Thrill-seekers can choose freestyle flights featuring dynamic manoeuvres and weightless sensations, while XXL flights offer extended time in the air to fully absorb the dramatic alpine scenery. For a truly unique experience, high-altitude launches from the Aiguille du Midi deliver breathtaking views in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif.

2. Tandem paragliding

This company's sole activity is tandem paragliding, so they are 100 % focused on you and your flight. Their fully qualified pilots have vast experience and have done 1,000s of flight in the Chamonix Valley.

Personalised paragliding instruction and tandem discovery flights are on offer, taking off from all the top paragliding locations, such as Planpraz, Plan d'Aiguille, Grand Montets and, for the more adventurous, from the Aiguille de Midi. Created and administered by Sean Potts, the school is frequently aided by a number of highly experienced instructors.

Both adults and children can enjoy the thrill of paragliding - age is not a factor. They have flown from 4 to 91 years olds!

3. Paragliding

Paragliding (or “parapente” in French) is a "must do" activity in Chamonix!

You will fly in-tandem with one of their qualified parapente pilots and witness some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps!

4. Helicopter tours

A fantastic way to see the resort with your friends and family and a great way to entertain any non-skiers in your group.

Experience the beauty of the mountains by taking an amazing tour in a helicopter to view stunning, remote locations. Get a birdseye view of the Espace Killy and Three Valleys ski domains and their nature reserves as well as the Mont Blanc Valley.

You can choose a 10 minute, 30 minute or 60 minute flight

  • 10 minute heli scenic tour – Depart from your resort and circle the parameter of the nature reserve, with views around your resort and surrounding mountains.
  • 30 minute heli scenic tour – Departing from your local resort and adventuring further afield to surrounding glaciers, resorts and national parks.
  • 60 minute heli scenic tour – Not only is this a fantastic experience giving you time to really take in the moment and the scenery, it allows us to fly low over some simply stunning glaciers and down to the base of Mont Blanc for a tour of this awe inspiring mountain range before completing a loop of Italy and heading back into France.

For those who prefer a bit of glamour and adventure, you will be thrilled by a helicopter flight over the peaks and glaciers of the Mont Blanc mountains.

Sightseeing trips from 20 to 30 minutes can be arranged, taking in such incredible sights as the Argentiere glacier, the peaks of the Aiguille Verte and even hovering at 4810m over the summit of Mont Blanc.

6. Heliskiing/boarding

For backcountry adventures, this independent company operates in and around the following three heliski destinations: Valgrisenche, The Courmayeur Valley and the Col de Petit St Bernard Pass. They have pioneered 32 drop zones within these three broad valley regions giving you a huge choice of terrain, snow conditions and mountain orientation to ensure you have a day best suited to your ability and preferences.

You can choose to have one, two or three drops depending on your budget, fitness ability and experience!

  • One drop heliski – For those skiers and snowboarders who are looking to try heliskiing for the first time or those who are looking for a quick heliski hit away from the crowds without breaking the bank.
  • Two drop heliski – Two drops for those that have a little more fitness, off piste experience and money to spend.
  • Three drop heliski – Three longer flights allow you to get higher and further into the backcountry to find THE best snow and best terrain far away from lifts, roads and other people.

There is no limit in place for the number of people that can book, however, generally there are four clients per helicopter plus a guide. Their guides are happy to supply you with any of the equipment needed to make sure you have the perfect experience. They also provide you with transceivers, shovels and probes.
