The Casino Barrière is one of Chamonix's most dominating buildings that has rooms dating back to the Second Empire, some of which are listed historical monuments.

The casino has both French and English roulette tables, blackjack tables and a range of machines. You can enjoy the hustle and bustle with a drink at the bar. The casino also has a popular restaurant, Le Café Royale; it makes a great venue for a fun night out with friends.

Casino Barrière is open from 11:00, with the tables opening at 20:00 (17:00 on Fridays) until 02:00 during the week and until 03:00 at weekends.

Don't forget to enquire about events upstairs in the panoramic 'Salle de Spectacle' - as well as stunning views of Chamonix there are regular entertainments and themed evenings.
